Duke von Demmin is a beautiful, well bred 18 month old German Shepherd. Duke looks like he comes from import lines with his straighter back and heavier bone structure. His foster dad took him right to the dog park, which we don't recommend the first day, but he was a big hit, he was perfectly behaved. No one could get over that fact that such a sweet and handsome dog was looking for a home. Duke loves stuffed animals but his German Shepherd foster sister makes it clear that he can only play with the ones she doesn't want. If Duke tries to get in her crate, she lets him know short order that it isn't allowed. Good natured Duke knows it isn't his home and concedes to her. He walks so well on the leash that the foster dad can walk large Duke and Jenna his foster sister together. Duke is housebroken and has some training. We aren't sure how Duke ended up with no family, but he will certainly be a gift to the next family.
